IMS NMS for Password Changes

Security of Network Device Passwords

Password changes are in the news! New regulations are requiring many companies to change their network device passwords to mitigate security risks. This includes large numbers of radios used to communicate to remote locations where oil and gas companies and utilities have equipment.

E2E’s Network Management System (NMS) provides the ability to remotely push password changes. This can save a large amount of time and money by avoiding traveling to remote sites. Along with the advantage of making remote updates, the changes will be documented in logs that can be used for compliance.

A table highlighting which devices we support is below. We continually add new devices and functionality to better serve our customers. Contact us, if you’re interested in learning more about additional functionality and features we offer as part of change management or if you have a device that isn’t on the list.
